He is a lecturer and author (“Competitive Intelligence Manual for Marketing Practitioners.”) Prior to founding Market Alert Limited, David worked in market research for Royal Bank and in advertising, managing the Pfizer and Wendy’s accounts. He completed his MBA from McGill in Montreal.
Mark McManus is the Chief Solutions Officer for GHLC Inc. As an independent business advisor to Market Alert Limited, Mark assists in data analysis, synthesis and interpretation, the development of conclusions, and the review of final reports. Mark brings significant market expertise, business acumen, and workplace experience gained through progressively senior positions with Canadian financial institutions, a provincial securities regulator, a Canadian global IT firm, the non-profit sector, and as an officer in the Canadian Forces Reserve. Mark earned a B. Comm. (Hons.) from Queen’s University at Kingston, and a M. Ed. from OISE at the University of Toronto.
Nancy Shopsowitz has held management positions at The Bay, Holt Renfrew and Birks for 30 years. One of her main responsibilities was to deliver superior client service by developing a proactive team through ongoing staff training. This led to a consistent year over year increase in sales and profitability in her areas of responsibility. Nancy has a BA from University of Toronto.
Beverlee Searle is a bilingual pharma professional. As a product manager, she led the product life cycle team and championed cross functional strategic and tactical brand planning. As a market research manager, she conducted primary market research, and integrated secondary data, to provide recommendations to sales and marketing senior management. She has also been the CI lead for a bio-similar working group.
Sylvia Helene Perras brings 25 years experience in clinical research and telecom market analysis. Her fluency in French, Italian and Spanish is a key asset when we conduct research in international markets. Sylvia studied public relations at University of Montreal and earned an MBA in Human Resources.
